Yes. eRemote HA supports IR2MQTT for Home Assistant. It converts infrared control into MQTT messages so you can integrate traditional IR appliances like TVs and air conditioners into Home Assistant automations.
eRemote HA can control many traditional infrared appliances, including TVs, air conditioners, set-top boxes, DVD players, amplifiers, and projectors. It supports a large cloud library of brands and models.
Yes. eRemote HA works with both Alexa and Google Home, allowing voice control for compatible appliances and routines without needing to use multiple remotes.
Yes. eRemote HA supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi for device connection.
eRemote HA provides an ultra-wide infrared signal range of up to 12 meters, suitable for large rooms. In many cases, signals can also be reflected by walls for broader coverage.
During the learning process, check whether the red indicator remains lit when you point the remote at the device and press a button. You can also hide the remote in a pocket or fully cover its front, then press the same button. If the appliance still responds, the signal may not be infrared because infrared light cannot pass through an opaque covering. In that case, eRemote, eRemote HA, eMotion Max, eMotion Pro and eMotion Ultra cannot learn that signal.
