Falha Na Actualização Do Firmware

Problem

A LinknLink device firmware update fails before downloading, during the update, or after the device restarts.

Cause

  • The selected firmware does not match the exact device model or hardware revision.
  • The Wi-Fi connection, device power, or app connection is interrupted during the update.
  • The router or local network prevents the app from sending the update instruction.
  • The update resets the device and it must be added again before it can be used.

Solution

1. Check before updating

  • Update LinknLink App to the current version.
  • Open device information and confirm the exact device model.
  • Use a stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection and keep the device powered.
  • Record the current firmware version before starting.
  • Do not close the app, remove power, or change networks while the update is running.

2. Retry the standard OTA update

  1. Open LinknLink App and select the device.
  2. Open the ... menu, select Settings, and open Firmware Update.
  3. Start the online update and wait for the app to finish checking, downloading, and applying the firmware.
  4. After the device restarts, check the firmware version and test the main device function.

3. Retry with a mobile hotspot

  1. Enable a mobile hotspot and note its Wi-Fi name and password.
  2. On iPhone, enable Maximize Compatibility when a 2.4 GHz hotspot is required.
  3. Connect the LinknLink device and app to the same hotspot.
  4. Retry the firmware update.

4. Use the manual update URL only when it is confirmed

  1. Open the device in LinknLink App and confirm the model in device information.
  2. Open ... > Settings > Firmware Update.
  3. Tap the URL button in the top-right corner.
  4. Paste the firmware URL confirmed for the exact device model and review it carefully.
  5. Tap OK and wait for the update to finish without removing power.

Troubleshooting

The update stops before downloading

Check Wi-Fi access, 2.4 GHz compatibility, app version, app permissions, and device power. Retry with a mobile hotspot to determine whether the home network is involved.

The update fails after the device restarts

Wait for the device LED to settle. If the device returns to setup mode, add it again in LinknLink App and verify the firmware version. Do not retry with firmware for another model.

The device cannot be used after updating

Record the model, firmware version, LED behavior, update method, and exact error message. Use the confirmed setup flow for the model or contact support with those details.

Notes

  • Never use firmware intended for another model or hardware revision.
  • Do not remove power during an update.
  • If the correct manual firmware URL is not available, stop and obtain model-specific support before continuing.
