What is the main difference between eMotion Pro (24GHz) and eMotion Ultra (60GHz)?

The eMotion Pro uses 24GHz radar, ideal for standard presence and fall detection. The eMotion Ultra utilizes 60GHz radar, which offers higher precision, better sensitivity to micro-movements (like breathing), and more granular zonal detection. The Ultra also includes integrated temperature, humidity, and light sensors.

Does LinknLink require a cloud subscription?

No. We prioritize local control. Our HA series (eRemote HA, eHome HA) and eMotion sensors support MQTT and Home Assistant natively, allowing them to function entirely within your local network for maximum privacy and zero latency.

Can the eMotion sensors detect someone sleeping?

Yes. Unlike traditional PIR sensors, mmWave technology detects the micro-movements of breathing. This makes the eMotion series perfect for bedrooms and bathrooms where people may remain still for long periods.

Is it hard to set up with Home Assistant?

Not at all. Our devices are designed for the HA community. They are easily discoverable via MQTT, and we provide detailed documentation at kb.linknlink.com to help you get started in minutes.
